• A shower is required before entering the pool.

• No street shoes on pool deck.

• Swim caps are required for all persons with hair longer than ear lobes.

• Swimsuits must be worn, no cutoffs allowed. Do not wear your bathing suit to the YMCA as you will not be admitted in the pool.

• Adult Lap Lane: 18 years of age or older.

• Recreation Swim: One lane will be available for lap swim. If pool is too crowded, the lane will be removed. All children 7 and under must be supervised by an adult (18+) in the water.

• YMCA kickboards and pull buoys are allowed only during lap swim and swim lessons.

• No one is allowed in the deep end of the pool unless they demonstrate to the lifeguard they can swim one length of the pool.

• All flotation devices must be approved by the lifeguard as no flotation devices are allowed in the deep end of the pool.

• Spectators in regular clothing are allowed on the pool deck ONLY at the invitation of the Aquatic Director, otherwise, all patrons must be in swimming attire.

• During swim lessons, parents are only allowed in the pool for first and last swim class.

We maintain our pool temperature at 83 degrees. We find the temperature most suitable for all pool activities. Due to the filter cleaning and the constant addition of water, water temperature may vary slightly.

Lifeguards: Lifeguards may need you to relocate during lap swim. Lifeguards are responsible for making certain the entire pool operates safely and smoothly. Please cooperate fully with the lifeguard in all instances.
