Adventure Guides                                     

Dads or Moms, looking for a new way to spend time having fun with your son or daughter? Then consider joining the Adventure Guides/Princess’ program. This program was created as a means for fathers and their children to spend time together in activities that encourage mutual understanding, love and respect. The immense popularity of the program resulted in an offshoot for mothers and their children. The “Pals Forever” and “Friends Always” slogan, respectively, personify the program goals.

Once you join the program, the parent/child team will be grouped with others in their area and will meet at least once a month for a group meeting. The parent/child groups are then placed in larger groups called Alliances and have the opportunity to attend events or activities with more parent/ child teams outside their group.

Some of the events that take place throughout the year are:  Fall, Winter, Spring Campouts, Bowling, Roller Skating, Sporting Event, Hike-A-Thons, Daddy/Daughter Dance, Plays, Boat Regattas, Hay Ride, Corn Mazes

The following programs are for children Kindergarten through 6th grade only:

  •  Guides for Father/Son

  • Braves for Mother/Son

  • Princesses for Father/Daughter

  • Maidens for Mother/Daughter
